Biscuit Beignets

Biscuit beignets are an easy, homemade twist on the classic New Orleans treat. Made with canned biscuits, fried until golden, and finished with a dusting of powdered sugar, they’re warm, fluffy, and irresistibly simple.

Cook Time 5 minutes
Servings: 32 Beignets

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • cooking oil

Method
 

  1. Heat about two to three inches of oil in pan or fryer to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut biscuits into four equal parts and roll into balls, making sure to pinch in any layers.
  3. Cook biscuit balls in oil until golden brown on every side, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle top immediately with powdered sugar.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!
  6. I served with link sausage and strawberries!
