Hey there! My name is Rachael McLendon.

I live on a small farm in rural South Alabama with my husband Jonathan and our four kids. We raise production cattle, a small pork operation, honeybees, poultry, dairy cows, as well as a little bit of everything else. We sell hay and own and operate a land clearing company as well. Life here revolves around family, home, and the rhythms of the different seasons and what each of those bring for us.

This space is where I share the everyday things that make up our life— recipes, homeschool days, farm and garden life, canning, homemaking, home decor, and motherhood. It’s a mix of slow mornings, full tables, messy and loud life, and a home that’s always being well-lived in.

In This Current Season is about keeping things simple, warm, and real, and finding joy in ordinary days while tending to what’s right in front of us.
